Who I am

Dog Focused is run by Agata Brzek, a dog trainer based in Dunning, Perthshire. I am responsible for the personal information you share with me through this website. If you have a question about it, email agata@dogfocused.co.uk.

What I collect and why

Requesting a call back. When you fill in the call back form, I receive your name, phone number, email address and anything you tell me about your dog. I use it to call you back and, if we go ahead, to plan and deliver your training. The form is delivered to my email inbox by Web3Forms.

WhatsApp, phone and email. Your name, number or email address and anything you send me, including photos and videos of your dog. I use them to reply, arrange sessions and give you feedback on your training.

Website statistics. If you accept cookies, the site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful. It does not tell me who you are.

My lawful basis

Replying to your enquiry and delivering training is done at your request, before and under our agreement. Analytics cookies are only used with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Client records, including training plans, are kept while we work together and for up to 6 years afterwards for insurance and legal reasons.

Who I share it with

I never sell your information. It is only handled by the services named on this page (Web3Forms, WhatsApp, Google) and my website and email hosts, to do the jobs described. Some of these services are based outside the UK and use approved safeguards when they handle your data.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information I hold about you, and ask me to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email agata@dogfocused.co.uk and I will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office atico.org.uk.

Cookies

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you are happy for the site to use analytics cookies. Nothing is set until you choose Accept. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Analytics cookies (only if you accept). Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and_ga_… to count visits and see which pages people find useful. They last up to 2 years and do not tell me who you are.

Remembering your choice. The site stores your cookie choice in your browser's local storage, so it does not ask again on every page. This is essential and is not used for tracking.

WhatsApp. If you tap a WhatsApp button, the chat opens on WhatsApp, which is covered by its own privacy policy.
